Exiting freeway and decelerating from 65mph speed to come to a stop, the exit veers the to left and slightly uphill. At around the speed of 35 mph the car brake began to actually give resistance and I could feel it actually start applying pressure back onto my foot as if deliberately trying to accelerate. Was unable to get brake to go push down even with applying more force than usual. Very high risk situation with stationary cars and an intersection nearing. Picked up my foot a slammed my brake

The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, she heard a loud shattering sound in the interior of the vehicle, prompting her to pull over to the shoulder of the roadway.
