CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, 'LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.' THE LUMINOUS INTENSITY OF THE DAYTIME RUNNING LAMP (DRL) WILL BE MODIFIED TO MEET THE STANDARD REQUIREMENTS.

CERTAIN CK MOTORSPORTS COMBINATION HEADLIGHTS, CLEAR CORNER, BUMPER, AND SIDE MARKER LIGHTS SOLD AS REPLACEMENT LAMPS FOR USE ON THE PASSENGER VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE. SOME COMBINATION LAMPS THAT ARE NOT EQUIPPED WITH AMBER SIDE REFLECTORS FAIL TO CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO.

CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES HAVE THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE RECESS RETAINS A RUBBER SEAL RING, WHICH IS LOCATED AT THE END OF THE CYLINDER BODY, AND MAY BE CORRODED DUE TO AN IMPROPER WASHING PROCESS.

I REPORTED INCIDENT TO TOYOTA, BUT THEIR RESPONSE OF 11-6-03 SIMPLY STATED AIRBAGS ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE PROTECTION FOR DRIVER AND THEY SENT ME A BROCHURE ON AIR BAGS. THE CONSUMER STATED SHE PULLED INTO A PARKING LOT AND STOPPED THE CAR. SUDDENLY, THE VEHICLE SHIFTED GEARS AND THE ACCELERATOR BECAME STUCK. UPDATED IVOQ 04/02/10
9/11/01: SHORTLY BEFORE MIDNITE: FIRE IGNITED IN OUR UNATTACHED GARAGE, FAMILY SLEEPING, ONLY VEHICLE IN THE GARAGE WAS A 2000 TOYOTA CELICA (APPROX 20,000 MILES ON IT). NEIGHBORS WOKE US UP, BY THAT TIME HOUSE WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES, WE WERE EVACUATED. TOTAL LOSS:NEARLY $300,000.00 IN LOSS AND PROPERTY DAMAGE. ON JANUARY 2ND, OUR DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK AND THE CAR CAUGHT FIRE. SHE WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE CAR AND CALL 911.
