CONSUMER STATES THAT THE WIDE TIRES EQUIPPED ON THIS VEHICLE CAUSED 2 ACCIDENTS IN WHICH VEHICLE FISH-TAILED AND CONSUMER LOST CONTROL RESULTING IN A CRASH, ON ONE OCCASION CONSUMER HIT HIS HEAD, BUT WAS NOT INJURED, BOTH ACCIDENTS OCCURRED IN SNOWY, WET ROAD CONDITIONS. I WAS DRIVING DOWN I-4 WHEN CAR SEEM TO LOSE POWER, SO I TOOK NEXT AVAILABLE EXIT. I SHUT THE IGNITION OFF, HEARD WHAT SOUNDED LIKE A BACKFIRE. AT THAT MOMENT OF SHUT OFF SMOKE STARTED FROM UNDER THE HOOD, BOTH SIDES AND THEN INTO THE INSIDE OF MY CAR. I AND PASSERBY'S TRIED TO EXTINGUISH FIRE BUT IT WAS TO HOT AND HOPELESS. FIRE DEPT. ARRIVED VERY QUICKLY BUT THE FRONT OF MY CAR IS COOKED. PLEASE HELP ME, THE CAR WAS RUNNING PERFECTLY RIGHT TO THAT POINT! I NOTICED SEVERAL OTHER FIRES. THIS MUS
THE CONSUMER HAD JUST PARKED THE VEHICLE WHEN HE NOTICED FLAMES SHOOTING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. LIFTED HOOD & NOTICED FLUID DRIPPING FROM HOSE (HOT AIR HOSE BELOW FUEL LINE) WAS IN FLAMES. PUT THE FLAMES OUT. THE ENGINE WAS BURNT .RECALL 93V199000. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH - 40 MPH VEHICLE HAD FRONTAL IMPACT WITH A TREE, AND DRIVER'S AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY, WHICH DID NOT PROTECT THE OCCUPANT IN THIS ACCIDENT. CAUSE UNKNOWN. *AK
IE97060, VEHICLE HAD A BURNED HOLE IN THE FUEL LINE, AFTER A DEALER INSPECTED THE FUEL LINES AND BELTS AND SAID THAT THERE WAS NO PROBLEM, WHICH CAUSED A FUEL LEAK AND RESULTED IN A FIRE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
TRANS. LOCK OUT AND NOISE. HAD TO BE REBUILT AT MY EXPENSE @ 63K MI. DEALER SAID THERE WAS NO PROB. ABS FAILS IN WET COND. CAUSED MANY NEAR ACIDENTS. I MUST BRAKE MANY TIMES THE NORMAL DISTANCE TO ENSURE THAT I CAN STOP
WHILE DRIVING THE DRIVER APLLIED THE BRAKES AND THE AIR BAG DEPLOYED . THE AIR BAG COVER BROKE THE PASSENGER'S ARM, AND THE WINDSHIELD WHICH CAUSED THE DRIVER TO HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE. *AK

APPLIED BRAKES AND CLUTCH AT SAME TIME, ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM LOCKED UP, VEHICLE SPUN AROUND TWICE, LOST CONTROL, RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT; VEHICLE AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION. *AK
