CERTAIN DELPHI FUEL PRESSURE REGULATORS, P/NOS. FP10020-11B1, FP10026-11B1, AND FP10027-11B1, SOLD AFTER JANUARY 9, 2007, AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS PASSENGER VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE. THE UNIVERSAL PRESSURE REGULATORS (UPR) WERE PRODUCED WITHOUT AN O'RING AND RETAINER.

I WAS STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC SIGNAL BEHIND ANOTHER VEHICLE. I WAS REAR ENDED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH. I WAS WEARING MY SEAT BELT. *NM THE BACK OF THE DRIVERS SEAT FAILED, CAUSING ME TO FALL BACKWARD AND HIT MY KNEES ON THE PLASTIC PANELS ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE STEERING COLUMN. FUEL TANK FILLER SPRAYED FUEL ONTO EXHAUST PIPE WHILE UNDER NORMAL INTERSTATE DRIVING CONDITIONS. MY WIFE SMELLED AN ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL ABOUT 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE FIRE WHILE FUELING AT A SERVICE STATION. SHE DISMISSED IT SINCE THERE WAS A NEARBY CONSTRUCTION CREW THAT WAS BURNING TRASH IN BARRELS. SHE THOUGHT PERHAPS IT WAS SOMETHING THEY WERE BURNING. AFTER A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE VEHICLE, WE CONTINUED ON. *NM
