My car was parked in my driveway without being used for almost a day and caught on fire. The fire started in the driver side where the harness supposedly got changed and went up. I was in a head on collision going 55-60mph with no airbags deployed. Car started a dripping fire. I have seatbelt lacerations starting from collarbone/neck area cross my chest, breast and right side ribs including deep bruising on lower abdomen and pelvic area. Police would not let me in my car bc air bags could potentially go off at any time but car made it to the tow-yard still without airbags going off. During a rear end accident on the highway when someone slammed on their brakes, I hit them at around 40 mph and slamming on my brakes to prevent it and the airbags did not deploy. The light was on the dashboard after the accident as if they did the deploy, the seatbelt blew out and will no longer retract. Unknown what failed but my car was set on fire today. Whole dash was completely burnt.
