Drivers rear shock rusted off the wheel well causing wheel to snap and metal frame to hit the ground while I was traveling 40 mph. At this time the other wheels locked up and started squealing causing loss of control of vehicle shooting me across lanes and hitting curbs on both sides. This is an update to the complaint from June- Because I have to compensate manually for the electric power steering, Iâve aggravated upper back injuries and strained hip muscles I incurred from work. I have to attend physical therapy for those injuries now, but itâs useless if my only mode of transportation prolongs my recovery.ââ My 2009 Mercury Marinerâs steering wheel started locking up 3 months ago, and itâs hard to get the steering wheel and the tires to agree on one direction.

I was making a turn and the vehicle seemed as if the steering locked up. It randomly does this and is starting to be more and more often. It has already made me run off of the road and hit a culvert causing even further damage.
Power steering works or I have to manhandle the wheel to drive. If I turn car off and jiggle the steering wheel while turning it on sometimes it will come back other times it wonât.
MY DAUGHTER WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT DUE TO FAULTY BRAKES. WE HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE IN TO HAVE REPAIRS AT THREE DIFFERENT SHOPS, THE LAST TWO BEING AT FORD. THE FIRST TWO SHOPS COULD NEVER GET THE BRAKES RIGHT. FORD FINALLY GOT THEM TO WORK FOR A PERIOD OF TIME. THEY WENT OUT AGAIN. FORD HAD THE CAR FOR ANOTHER MONTH- IT TAKES MONTHS EVERY TIME. PAID ANOTHER $2445. AND STILL NO BRAKES. HAVE CONTACTED FORD CORPORATE AND THEY REFUSE TO HELP OR GIVE ME DOCUMENTATION TO THAT EFFECT. FORD CASES ARE

AS A RESULT, ANOTHER VEHICLE STRUCK THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TOWED AND WAS DRIVEN TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. HAVE HAD MULTIPLE BRAKE FAILURES INCLUDING AN ACCIDENT THAT MY DAUGHTER WAS INVOLVED IN AS A RESULT OF BRAKE FAILURE. THE BRAKES WILL WORK FINE FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME AND THEN OUT OF NOWHERE YOU STEP ON THE BRAKE AND THERE'S JUST A SOFT PEDAL FOR ABOUT 3/4 OF THE WAS BEFORE YOU GET A VERY SOFT BRAKE. INTO THIS FOR THOUSANDS AND NOW FORD SAYS A HYDRAULIC BRAKE SENSOR IS THE PROBLEM FOR BETWEEN $2100-2400. HEARD THAT IT WAS FIXED EVERY TIME I'VE PICKED IT UP. DANGEROUS!!! MY DAUGHTER OR SOME
