CERTAIN AFTERMARKET BRAKE HYDRAULIC MASTER CYLINDERS SOLD AS REPLACEMENT BRAKE CYLINDERS FOR CERTAIN FORD, DAIMLERCHRYSLER, AND JEEP PASSENGER VEHICLES. THESE BRAKE CYLINDERS WERE SOLD UNDER THE BRAND NAMES OF NAPA, RAYBESTOS, AIMCO, AC DELCO, CARQUEST, BENDIX, AND WAGNER. ONLY PRODUCTS THAT WERE

ON CERTAIN PICKUP TRUCKS, SPORT UTILITY AND PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 42RLE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS, THE CUP PLUG THAT RETAINS THE PARK PAWL ANCHOR SHAFT MAY BE IMPROPERLY INSTALLED. IF THE SHAFT MOVES OUT OF POSITION, THE VEHICLE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE 'PARK' POSITION.

At every fuel fill up, gasoline splashes back out onto the vehicle, the person filling the vehicle and creates a very unsafe puddle of gasoline on the ground. There is never a time that it does not happen. I would be readily available to make my vehicle available for inspection of this concern. : I AM THE OWNER OF A 2005 JEEP WRANGLER. FOR THE LAST 10+ YEARS MY ACCELERATOR HAS STUCK AT FULL THROTTLE 5-7 TIMES. EVERY TIME I HAVE TAKEN IT TO A SHOP - THEY HAVE TEST DRIVEN IT BUT NO STICKING. LAST WEDNESDAY (5/22) AT A 4 WAY STOP SIGN MY ACCELERATOR STUCK AGAIN AT FULL THROTTLE & I HIT A CAR. NO ONE WAS HURT, BUT I WAS GIVEN A CITATION WITH WITNESSES TO THE ACCELERATOR BEING STUCK. THE 2005 JEEP WRANGLER SPORT WAS A TOTAL LOSS AFTER IT CAUGHT ON FIRE AND SEVERELY DAMAGED THE ENGINE AND THE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. IT JUST HAD THE TRANSMISSION REPLACED THE DAY BEFORE THE INCIDENT. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO DEMONSTRATE TRANSMISSION ISSUES DESPITE THE NEW TRANSMISSION (INCLUDING DIFFICULTY SHIFTING AND A LOSS OF POWER WHILE GOING UPHILL). MODULE AND WIRING MELTED AND FUSED TOGETHER. 2017: DURING INSTALL OF NEW STEREO, MECHANIC DISCOVERED MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH AND MODULE MELTED AGAIN. REPLACED ALL WIRING WITH HEAVIER GAUGE, REPLACED ALL BULBS WITH LOWER WATTAGE LEDS. WONDERING WHEN NEXT ELECTRICAL PROBLEM WILL SURFACE.

2005 JEEP WRANGLER. CONSUMER STATES WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF PURCHASE VEHICLE BEGAN EXPERIENCING ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE HEATER/FAN SWITCH WAS REPLACED NUMEROUS TIMES. ON MARCH 22, 2010, SMOKE BEGAN EMITTING FROM THE VENTS INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE. WITHIN MINUTES, THE VEHICLE WAS FULLY ENGULFED IN FLAMES AND BURNED COMPLETELY TO THE FRAME. CHRYSLER DETERMINED THERE WERE NO MANUFACTURING DEFECTS DESPITE THE NUMEROUS PROBLEMS THE CONSUMER ENCOUNTERED WITH THE VEHICLE.
WHEN REFUELING THE VEHICLE, FUEL PUMP NEVER SHUTS OFF. THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE NOW FOR A LONG TIME. THE FUEL SYSTEM ALLOWS THE PUMP TO CONTINUE RUNNING AFTER THE TANK IS FULL. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT GAS STATION I GO TO. GASOLINE ALWAYS OVERFLOWS AND SPILLS OUT ONTO THE GROUND. I WAS RECENTLY REFUELING MY AND THE VEHICLE AND THE PUMP DID NOT SHUT OFF. THE ACCELERATOR (GAS PEDAL) INITIALLY FELT AS THOUGH IT WERE STUCK, AS IF THERE WAS A BLOCK UNDER IT, WHEN DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH. 2005 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED RUBICON FUEL TANK OVERFLOWS 80% OF THE TIME I FILL UP. ONCE, IT KEPT RUNNING WITHOUT STOPPING AND SPILLING 5-10 GALLONS. THIS CAUSED ME TO SLIP IN THE GAS RESULTING IN WHIPLASH WHICH I AM STILL HAVING TO ADDRESS 2 MONTHS LATER.
