While driving at a constant speed without being rear ended passenger side headrest deployed slamming into the back of the passenger head. Passengerâs head was knocked forward with violent force. There have been reports of others having the same thing happen with the headrest in the jeep compass. Police were not notified. Dealership will be contacted this week about the headrest malfunction.
The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Compass. The contact stated while driving 35 mph, he heard an abnormal sound and saw the front passengerâs headrest had partially deployed. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that his son was seated in the front passengerâs seat and indicated that his head was hurting after the failure occurred but did not seek medical attention.
