On [July 4, 2025], while driving, my vehicle experienced a sudden loss of power followed by smoke and flames coming from the engine compartment. The fire required emergency response and caused significant damage to the vehicle. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the incident posed a serious risk to my safety and others on the road. I had not received any prior warning signs such as engine knocking or warning lights. The fire appears to be directly related to the known defect outlined in Recall

My concern is who is going to pay for the damage to my car? I initiated a claim with Hyundai due to my car malfunctioning at a stoplight, the light turned green and I gently pressed the accelerator and it lurched forward and smashed into the car in front of me. I had taken my car in multiple times telling them the accelerator sticks and hesitates. Each time they told me nothing was wrong with it. I researched online and I found many people were having this same issue with the accelerator in the
Was driving down the road when it started making a metallic noises then all of a sudden the car sputtered, shot flames and smoke out from underneath the car and metal debris went flying. I had to tow my car to the dealership where they still have it. They said there is a hole in the engine block where a rod was thrown. After this incident we looked more into the problem to find that other Hyundaia have had the same issue. No check engine light came on, the car didn't over heat or anything it was

Vehicle caught fire damaging wiring harness. engine has hesitation, AC system was damaged by fire. recall shows electrical system/engine and brakes in recall. Hyandai refused to replace citing missed oil changes. oil was changed regularly but not always at the dealer. These particular problems are exactly what the recall was for, problem is design and manufacturing the oil change issue has no effect. I want these fixed as soon as soon as possible

Vehicle caught fire while driving despite recall fixes. Vehicle was serviced by a dealership a week prior to the incident. While driving the ABS and other lights on the dash starting flashing, the steering was started to go out then smoke started coming into the car vents inside the vehicle. While I was not injured my only saving grace was that I was already in the left lane during rush hour traffic. The vehicle was inspected by both insurance as well as a Hyundai USA representative, the Hyund
