Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2022 and 2024-2025 CRF1100 Africa Twin motorcycles. A software error in the fuel injection electronic control unit (FI-ECU) may cause an engine stall or a loss of power when the Wheelie Control feature is activated.

The motorcycle broke spontaneous two bolts that support the bracket that have the gearshift pedal, a step (to rest the foot) and the side stand. This on the left side of the motorcycle. The motorcycle can't be rode because a safety switch is in the stand.
TFT failed 9/8/23 to respond to touch input. Can only be operated by bar controls. Terribly distracting. Other owners report similar failures. Screen is manufactured by Garmin for Honda.
Have experienced myself that this motorcycle, which utilizes a DCT clutchless system for gear changes, is prone to stalls when taking off from a stop at low throttle inputs. A benefit of the DCT system is it's purported not to stall. This is very different than the fuel tank / filter issue which resulted in a recall of 2020 models, that affected bikes at high speed. I have spoken to several owners of the same bike all experienced the same. We discuss frequently on an owner's forum. An online

My Honda africa twin DCT stalls at low speed. It happened twice. When I about to move forward from the stop sign, the bike stalls itself. It is very dangerous for a motorcycle.

Random engine stalls and engine dying under acceleration. Most often happens when leaving from a stop at intersections. The engine either immediately dying out before any forward movement or dying out a second later leaving me in a hazardous position in the middle of the intersection. I bought the bike new June 22, 2021 and to date May 26, 2022 this stall has occurred 8 times in 5440 miles; the first stall occurred at 1850 miles 2 months new.
