I own a 2014 Honda CR-V. Since around November 2022 I have repeatedly experienced an intermittent “bounce” or shudder when accelerating, especially around 20–25 mph and sometimes at higher speeds (around 45 mph and above). My vehicle was involved in an accident on the highway in which no front airbags were deployed. I’m grateful that my family and I weren’t seriously injured. My Vin# shows that their aren’t any recalls on my vehicle but feel there may be something wrong with my airbags.

THEY VERIFIED MY CONCERN THAT TECHNICIAN RECOMMENDS TO PERFORM TRANSMISSION FLUID FLUSH AND TRANSMISSION SOFTWARE UPDATE. ONCE IT HIT THE CAR BEHIND IT, AND ON THE OTHER I WAS ABLE TO GET BACK IN THE CAR AND HIT THE BRAKE (WHICH RESPONDED) BEFORE IT ROLLED OUT INTO THE STREET. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO REPRODUCE THE PROGRAM, AND I WAS TOLD THEY ARE GOING TO DO NOTHING UNLESS IT MALFUNCTIONS IN FRONT OF THEM, OR I GET AN ENGINE ERROR CODE. *TR

AS I PULLED INTO THE PARKING AREA IN FRONT OF THE SHOP, I SAW WHAT I THOUGHT WAS STEAM COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. I TURNED THE ENGINE OFF AND TRIED TO RELEASE THE HOOD LATCH, WHILE I WAS DOING THAT A MAN BANGED ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW AND TOLD ME TO QUICKLY GET OUT OF THE CAR. I DID SO AND AS I WAS WALKING TOWARDS THE SHOP THE CAR BURST INTO FLAMES. SEE ATTACHED PICTURES. SOMEONE

VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO TOWN(25MI) - UPON THE RETURN TO RESIDENCE FIRE BROKE OUT UNDER ENGINE IN DRIVEWAY. CAR SERVICED EVERY 5K MILES. NO OTHER ISSUES PRIOR TO FIRE WITH VEHICLE.

WHILE PARKING ON THE SECOND LEVEL OF A PARKING GARAGE, THE CAR SUDDENLY LUNGED FORWARD AND JUMPED THE STOP AND CRASHED INTO THE WALL OF THE GARAGE. MY FOOT WAS ON THE BREAK BUT WHEN I LIFTED IT OFF, THE ENGINE REVVED UP WITHOUT MY FOOT ON THE GAS. THIS HAS DONE THIS BEFORE AND I HAVE REPORTED IT TO HONDA BUT THEY DID NOTHING TO CORRECT IT.
