I was driving my 2015 GMC Yukon a light illuminated on the dashboard. I pulled over at a Convenience store. Got my children out of the car. Once out of the vehicle I noticed smoke. Within the matter of 2 mins the truck was engulfed in flames.
CAR WAS PARKED IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE AND COMBUSTED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING. CAR WAS EXPLODING AND ENGULFED IN FLAMES...COMPLETELY DESTROYED VIA FIRE AND THE WORST DAMAGE WAS IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. CAUSE OF THE FIRE IS UNKNOWN ALTHOUGH BASED ON RESEARCH SOUNDS LIKE NHTSA CAMPAIGN #14V007000 OR 14V152000. FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND POLICE WERE ON THE SCENE.

A FEW DAYS AGO I GOT OUT OF MY TRUCK TO RETRIEVE A PACKAGE LEFT AT MY GARAGE DOOR. I PUT MY VEHICLE IN PARK WALKED AROUND MY CAR DOOR WALKED BY THE FRONT OF MY TRUCK TO RETRIEVE THE PACKAGE AND ALL THE SUDDEN I WAS KNOCKED DOWN. I DID NOT REALIZE WHAT HAPPENED UNTIL I LOOKED UP AND SAW MY TRUCK DRIVING TOWARDS ME. I SCREAM FOR HELP AS I CRAWLED BACKWARDS TO SAFETY. CALLED DEALERSHIP, THEY WERE AWARE AND SAID DRIVE IT THERE, ALMOST WRECKED AGAIN PULLING INTO PARKING OT AT DEALERSHIP. YOU CANNOT DRIVE THE CAR LIKE THIS, VERY DANGEROUS. BEING TOLD ITS A COMMON PROBLEM THAT GMC KNOWS ABOUT BUT WILL ONLY FIX IF ITS 70,000 OR 6 YEARS. NOT OK, FIX THE PROBLEM MY CAR IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY UNTIL 100,000 MILES! VA
