State Farm is investigating the accident to see what, if anything, malfunctioned in my braking system. I ran a red light but when I pressed the brake upon approach of the red light my brakes didn't catch and so when I pressed them, I kept going at the same speed. I have an outstanding recall on my 2014 Yukon. This recall is several years old. As far as I can tell nothing has been done on this recall. This is a safety recall! Previously I owned a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban with the same recall on it. I was told that no parts were available for the repair. I repeat this is a SAFETY recall!!! I HAD A FRONT END COLLISION AT 25 MPH WITH A PARKED CAR. MY AIRBAG(S) DID NOT DEPLOY. THE ENTIRE FRONT END OF MY CAR WAS DESTROYED. THE HOOD WAS CRUMPLED AND BOTH FRONT QUARTER PANELS DAMAGED.
