The engine lost power on the Hwy. Resulted in having to tow the vehicle to the dealership for an engine replacement. The truck is a 2024 with only 20K miles. There were no alerts within the interior to make me aware there was a problem. The engineer starting make a knocking sound at the time of failure. I had just gotten off the interstate when it failed. My truck started knocking and while driving home and it died on me in the middle of a busy street and would not start. I waved down a police officer and he kept me safe from cars hitting from behind.Come to find out it was the bearing rod and now I’m getting my engine replaced. On 5 Feb 2026 I was starting my 4-hour drive back home. 15 minutes into my drive my truck lost power, several lights and the engine light came on. While driving the vehicle I hit a bump on the road and all 4 windows in the vehicle went down. I did not push any buttons. I tried to close the windows and they would not close. Nothing happened when I attempted to close them. It was 10 degrees out I pulled over, and tried again with out success. I shut the car off, opened the door and closed it and restarted the car after a few minutes. I was able to close 3 of the 4 windows. Seat is squeaking loudly like if its loose or something is loose with it dealership and gm dont want to fix it they expect me to pay to fix something that ahouldnt even be happening on a 2 year old vehicle specially when you pay more than 70,000 dollars for a vehicle to be having this issue

While traveling 60 mph on a divided highway went to pass another vehicle. Had no throttle response the engine had completely turned off, locked up seized up. I’m not sure what caused the engine to just lose all power. Had to go back to the lane and luckily there was a turnoff where I was able to turn off the highway.

I was driving on the highway (using cruise control) when the front bumper grill started vibrating (so I tried to slow down) but it kept flapping and flew off before I was able to pull over. I then pulled over on the shoulder and had to walk back to retrieve it. My safety was put at risk because it could have hit my windshield and caused me to have an accident, or, it could have hit someone or another vehicle. I have it and it is available for inspection. It has not been inspected by anyone yet.
