THIS IS THE RECALL. MY CAR DID EXACTLY THIS. MY CAR IS A 93 THUNDERBIRD SUPER COUPE WITH FACTORY FOG LIGHTS AND THE WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR IS BURNT AND NEEDS REPLACED. HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT AFTER FLICKERING. WHILE DRIVING20 MPH CONSUMER APPLIED THE BRAKES AND PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. A LOUD STREAKING NOISE WAS HEARD FROM THE FRONT. CONSUMER LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND COLLIDED WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE. BOTH FRONTAL AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED NECK INJURIES. THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE HOME. *AK

MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH SHORTED AND CAUGHT ON FIRE . VEHICLE IS INCLUDED UNDER RECALL FOR HEADLIGHT SWITCH; HOWEVER THIS PART IS NOT INCLUDED UNDER REMEDY OF RECALL.

LEAKS IN BODY (WHEN NEW 12MI) DOOR HINGES , SEATBELTS, SEAT COVERS RIP OUT, FOG LAMPS AND SWITCH RECALL, CAN'T KEEP BREAKS AND ROTORS ON FRONT, WINDSHILD WIPERS BROKE (WHEN NEW) HAD TO HAVE NEW TIE ROD ENDS REPLACED , AT ABOUT 40.000 MI. WHILE DRIVING OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRRIORS BEGAN SMOKING, AND THEN IGNITED INTO A FIRE. FIRE DEPARTMENT PUT FIRE OUT. FIRE CAUSED BY A SHORT CIRCUIT. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK DURING THE FIRE THE ALARM IS NOT WORKING. *YH

WHILE DRIVING A FIRE IGNITED AT THE FRONT LEFT SIDE OF THE VEHICL., WHEN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CAME AND PUT THE FIRE OUT, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE FIRE ORIGINATED FROM A SHORTIN THE HEADLAMP. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED.*AK
CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN A 40 MPH FRONTAL COLLISION IN WHICH THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY, CAUSE UNKNOWN. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
