The contact stated that immediately after her husband had left the dealer after an oil change, the "Stop Safely Now" and "Check Engine" messages appeared on the instrument panel after an attempt to start the vehicle. The vin does not show a safety recall however the exact year, make, and model shows the same problem I am experiencing. my 2020 ford fusion hybrid is in service again. been getting service with same issues since 2022 to current. Ford installed 3g modems knowing the network would be shutdown. This causes most things on the infotainment center to stop working such as the vehicle GPS and most recently the Bluetooth command button. Updates have failed to resolve the issues. It is illegal for me to be distracted while driving, however, all of my distractions come from dealing with the infotainment and connectivity issues that were built into my vehicle.
