THE FIRE STARTED UNDER THE HOOD IN THE EVENING HOURS WHILE PARKED AND IN THE OFF POSITION. NO ONE WAS SIGHTED NEAR THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME. PROPER AUTHORITIES WERE CALLED AND INVESTIGATED THE INCIDENT. THE "HOT SPOT" OF THE FIRE APPEARS TO BE IN THE POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX UNDER THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE IS A TOTAL LOSS. THIS VEHICLE WAS USED ALL DAY AND PARKED FOR MANY HOURS BEFORE THE FIRE IGNITED.
I KNOW OF TWO OTHER INCIDENTS THAT SAME KIND FAILED, FORD BASICALLY SAID PROVE IT. NO SAFETY DEFECT LISTED. *AK

SERVERE TRUCK SWAY USING ANTI-SWAY TRAILERING BAR WITH 23' TRAILER
I APPLIED THE BRAKES THE TRUCK WAS ACTINGAS IF IT WAS ON ICE,PULLING TO THE LEFT . SKID MARKS WERE LEFT . I STUCK A MINIVAN THAT WAS CROSSING IN FRONT OF MY TRUCK AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT I THOUGHT THAT I HAD NOT APPLIED THE BREAKS IN TIME , NOW AFTER 7 MORE INTERMITTENT BRAKE FAILURES WITH ONE OF THOSE REASULTING IN A REAR END COLLISION WITH MINOR DAMAGE THIS WAS ABOUT THE THRID FAILURE THU TRUCK WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER AND THEY SAID THEIR WAS AIR IN THE BRAKE LINE THE TUUCK WAS
VEHICLE HIT IN REAR. BOTH SEATS BROKE AT PIVIT POINT. *AK
