TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 FORD E-350. THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE WHILE IT WAS PARKED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DRIVEN IN APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE FIRE OCCURRED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND STATED THAT IT ORIGINATED UNDER THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY PARKED IN THE CONTACT'S DRIVEWAY. THROUGH RESEARCH, HE DISCOVERED A RECALL FOR THAT YEAR, MAKE, AND MODEL VEHICLE FOR THE SAME VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL FAILURE. HE ALSO FOUND A RECALL ON

THIS AMBULANCE WAS INVOLVED IN A MODERATE FRONT END COLLISION. IT APPEARS AS IF THE OUTER WHEEL BEARING RETAINER NUT FAILED CAUSING THE NUT AND OUTER BEARING TO BE EJECTED FROM THE HUB. THIS APPARENTLY OCCURED ON IMPACT. THE AMBULANCE WAS TRANSPORTING A PATIENT AT THE TIME TRAVELING AT REASONABLE SPEED. ANOTHER MOTORIST ENTERED THE PATH OF TRAVEL OF THE AMBULANCE.
