1990 FORD AEROSTAR. CONSUMER STATES SUDDEN ACCELERATION NEARLY 20 YEARS AGO, THAT CAUSED OVER $1,000 IN DAMAGE. TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS IDLING. *JB

PARKED FOR 12 HOURS PRIOR TO FIRE AT 3:50 AM.
REPAIRS DONE UNDER RECALL #96V071000 & NOW PROBLEM OF FIRE HAS OCCURRED. BELIEVES THE IGNITION WAS REPLACED WITH A FAULTY PART. NO CHARGE GOING THROUGH EVEN WITH IGNITION OFF. THE BATTERY WOULD ALWAYS RUN DOWN.
HAD PARKED AT GAS STATION & TURNED IGNITION OFF. CHILD HAD SHIFTED LEVER WITHOUT KEY IN IGNITION. VEHICLE ROLLED FORWARD & DOWN A SLOPE & HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE. *AK
WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK WITH KEY REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION THE GEAR SHIFT LEVER WAS MOVED BY A CHILD, PUT IN REVERSE WHICH CAUSED A COLLISION. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
POSSIBLE MASTER CYLINDER FAILURE CAUSED BRAKE PEDAL TO GO TO THE FLOOR WHEN BACKING UP RESULTING IN DRIVER HITTING A PEDESTRIAN AND A PARKED CAR.
HAD PARKED VEHICLE & LEFT FOR AWHILE. CAME BACK & STARTED VEHICLE. DID NOT NOTICE GAS ODOR & VEHICLE BLUE UP & CAUGHT FIRE. FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED & PUT FLAMES OUT. CONSUMER WAS INFORMED FIRE ORIGINATED FROM THE FUEL LINES. *AK
