TRUCK WAS IN PARK AND WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING IT SUDDENLY JUMPED OUT GEAR, ACCELERATING UP TO 50 MPH. UPON UNCONTROLLABLE ACCELERATION THE TRUCK HIT A TREE. *AK
THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT STATED THE FIRE BEGAN IN AREA OF FUSE BOX. *JB
THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH, THE KEY BECAME HARD TO TURN, AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE WAS A BURNT WIRE SMELL COMING FROM THE STEERING WHEEL, AND A BURN HOLE WAS ON THE SIDE OF THE STEERING WHEEL COLUMN, SEVERAL WEEKS LATER, THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE REGARDING THE IGNITION SWITCH. *AK *JB
WHILE TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY HEARD A KNOCKING NOISE COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE.*AK THE ENGINE WIRES SHORTED CAUSING A FIRE AND THE VEHICLE BURNED COMPLETELY, THERE WERE 2 INJURIES. *YH
ON JULY 15, 2000, A 1994 DODGE RAM B350 VAN OWNED BY MACEDONIA BAPTIST CHURCH WAS TRAVELING DOWN INTERSTATE 59 WHEN THE LEFT REAR TIRE SUFFERED A TREAD BELT SEPARATION CAUSING THE VAN TO FLIP AND ROLL OVER SEVERAL TIMES CAUSING THE MULTIPLE INJURIES AND TWO FATALITIES. THE TIRE WAS A TREAD MARK RADIAL BELTED LT 245/75 R16 LOAD RANGE E (DOT PJ11AHLV126) MANUFACTURED BY KELLY-SPRINGFIELD/GOODYEAR TIRE AND RUBBER COMPANY, INC. ALSO THE 1994 DODGE RAM B350 VAN MANUFACTURED BY DAIMLERCHRYSLER CORPO
VEHICLE WAS PARKED INSIDE OF PARKING LOT, CONSUMER STARTED VEHICLE AND PUT IT INTO REVERSE. HE WENT A COUPLE OF FEET AND THE GAS PEDAL WAS STUCK, AND HE RAN UP AGAINST A TELEPHONE POLE, HE SHIFTED VEHICLE INTO NEUTRAL, AND IT TOOK OFF AND RAN INTO OFFICE BUILDING. *AK *YD
WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH DASHLIGHTS WENT OUT. CONSUMER PULLED OVER AND CHANGED THE FUSE. SHORTLY AFTERWARDS, DASH LIGHTS WENT OUT AGAIN, SMOKE WAS COMING FROM BEHIND THE DASHBOARD. CONSUMER DISCONNECTED BATTERY, AND HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO DEALER. DEALER DETERMINED THAT WIRING HARNESS CAUSED FIRE.*AK
WHILE DRIVING TO WORK SMOKE STARTED COMING FROM DASHBOARD. DEALER SAID NOT SAME PART AS RECALL. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 60-65 MPH VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL CRASH, AND DRIVER'S AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. VEHICLE WAS TOTALLED. *AK
CONSUMER STARTED CAR AND AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT WARNING, CAUSING INJURY TO CONSUMER. *AK *SLC

NOTICE FIRE COMING FROM THE HOOD, YANKED THE BATTERY CABLE OFF, THEN GOT INSIDE AND NOTICE THE WIRES BURNING, SMOTHERED THE WIRES, SEPARATED AND REPLACE WIRES, THEN THEY BURNED AGAIN, DEALER WOULD NOT COVER US UNDER THE RECALL
DEFECTIVE WARNING BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH OVERHEATED AND CAUSES A FIRE ON THAT WIRING HARNESS. DEALER SAID IT WAS NOT PART OF THE IGNITION /WIRING HARNESS RECALL. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 55MPH ON TH HIGHWAY. DIMMER SWITCH HAS A DEFAULT. CONSUMER SAID THAT HEADLIGHTS WERE ON BRIGHT, AND THEN HE SWITCHED THE LIGHTS ON DIM LIGHTS WENT OUT. THERE WERE NO LIGHT AT ALL. WHEN THE LIGHTS CAME BACK ON, CONSUMER HIT A DEER IN THE PROCESS, AND FRONT BUMPER WAS DEMOLISHED. *AK
WHEN TRUCK CRASHED INTO A TREE HEAD-ON, TRAVELING AT 45 MPH, THERE WAS NO DEPLOYMENT OF DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG. ENTIRE FRONT END WAS DAMAGED. *AK
THROTTLE ASSEMBLY KEEPS FAILING, CAUSING ENGINE TO GO BACK TO IDLE, AND WILL SHUTDOWN. DEALER CLAIMS IT IS A COMMON DEFECT. *AK *ML
