A MALE DRIVER WAS COMING TO A STOP ON A PAVED SURFACE AND BEFORE HE STOPPED COMPLETELY THE AIR BAG DEPLOYED AND INJURED THE DRIVER. NO OTHER VEHICLES OR OBJECTS WERE NEAR THE TRUCK WHEN THE AIR BAG DEPLOYED AND HE DID NOT SLAM ON THE BRAKES.
I WAS WORKING AND A COUPLE OF EMPLOYEES CAME IN YELLING THE MY TRUCK WAS ON FIRE.THE KEYS WAS OUT OF THE VEHICLE YET A ELECTRICAL FIRE STARTED UNDER THE STEERING COLUMN BURNING ALL THE DRIVERS SIDE DASH. CRAKED THE FRONT WINDSHIELD AND BUBBLED IT UP. IT TOOK LESS THEN 10 MIN TO DO ALL OF IT IF IT WASN'T FOR PEOPLE AT MY WORK THERE IS NO TELLING WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 DODGE RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THERE WERE TWO MAJOR CRACKS IN THE CENTER OF THE DASHBOARD THAT EXTENDED TO THE DRIVERS SIDE. ALSO, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE HEADLIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED THE DASHBOARD WOULD EMIT SMOKE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE LIGHT SWITCH BOX, PIGTAIL CONNECTOR AND THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE SELLING DEALERSHIP WAS CONTACTED AND THEY STATED THAT THERE WERE NO KNOWN DEFECTS WITH TRANS OR COOLER. REPLACED TRANSMISSION AT A GARAGE. THAT TRANS MELTED DOWN AFTER FIFTY MILES. BOUGHT SECOND TRANS IN THE NEXT TOWN. IT MELTED DOWN AFTER 150 MILES. THIRD REANSMISSION SHOP WENT TO A LOCAL DEALER AND REPLACED THE DEFECTIVE COOLER ASSEMBLY AND THE THIRD

THIS COMPLAINT IS IN REFERENCE TO MY 1995 DODGE RAM 1500. I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE CUP HOLDERS. IT HAS CUTOUTS ON THE SIDES THAT ALLOWS THE CUP TO TIP ONTO THE DRIVER DURING A VERY SLOW TURN. I RECENTLY WAS BURNED BY A CUP OF COFFEE AND ENDED UP OFF THE ROAD IN A DITCH. THE CUP TIPPED OVER IN A SMOOTH TURN AT LESS THAN 20MPH. ALSO THE POOR LOCATION OF THE HOLDER, WHICH SITS HIGH ON THE DASH, CAUSES VISUAL IMPARMENT TO THE DRIVER. I FEEL THAT THIS IS A VERY UNSAFE CONDITION AND COULD CAUSE A
I STOPPED MY 1995 DODGE RAM PICKUP, PUT IT IN PARK, AND GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK TO TALK TO A MAN TO GET DIRECTIONS TO A PHARMACY NEARBY. I TALKED TO THE MAN FOR A MINUTE OR SO AND HE TOLD ME THAT MY TRUCK WAS BEGINNING TO ROLL. IN MY ATTEMPT TO STOP THE TRUCK THAT WAS ROLLING BACKWARDS TOWARD A BUSY STREET, I FELL AND THE FRONT TIRE ON THE PICKUP RAN OVER BOTH OF MY LEGS. THE TRUCK HAD SLIPPED FROM PARK INTO REVERSE. WHILE DRIVING ON INTERSTATE AT 55 MPH A MERCEDES BENZ SLAMMED ON BRAKES TO AVOID SOMETHING IN THE ROAD, CONSUMER ALSO PRESSED ON BRAKES, AND WAS REAR ENDED BY ANOTHER DRIVER. CONSUMER SLAMMED INTO MERCEDES BENZ, AND NONE OF AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT, AIRBAG LIGHT HAD BEEN COMING ON AND OFF/ ON AND OFF. *AK *JB

CONSUMER WAS SITTING IN TRAFFIC GETTING READY TO MAKE A LEFT TURN, HE APPLIED TURN SIGNAL, AND FRONT CENTER OF HORN PAD FELL OUT AND JAMMED WHEEL BECAUSE HORN PAD WAS ATTACHED BY WIRES AND JAMMED BY SPOKE OF WHEEL AND TURN SIGNAL ARM.
