FUEL INJECTOR RACK WAS CAUSING FUEL LEAKAGES ONTO ENGINE. MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED, AND INFORMED CONSUMER NO RECALLS ON THAT PART. *AK ON ONE OCCASION, A FIRE IGNITED DUE TO THE FUEL LEAKAGE, THE FIRE CAUSED DAMAGE TO MANY COMPONENTS, THE STRONG FUEL ODOR CAUSED HEADACHES AND NAUSEA. *SLC
THERE WAS A FIRE IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUE TO A FUEL RAIL LEAK. DEALER HAS NOT BEEN CONTACTED.*AK SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION SHOWED LEAKS AT BOTH JOINTS OF FUEL RAIL. THE MANUFACTURER OF THE VEHICLE CLAIMS THAT IT WAS NOT CAUSED BY MANUFACTURING ERROR, BUT THE CONSUMER CITS NTHSA WEBSITES WHERE FUEL INJECTION RAIL DESING WAS STATED TO HAVE CAUSED THE PROBLEM. *YH
IN BOTH CASES, THE BACK SECTION OF THE DRIVER SEAT COLLAPSED BACKWARD. IN THE INITIAL CASE, IT FELL BACK ON MY DAUGHTER'S LEGS WITH MINIMAL INJURY. I REPLACED THE SEAT AND ALL WAS WELL UNTIL THE START OF THIS YEAR WHEN THE BACK AGAIN IS BREAKING. I CONTACTED DAIMLER CHRYSLER AND WAS TOLD IN BOTH CASES THAT THEY HAD NEVER HAD HEARD OF THIS HAPPENING BEFORE. I HAVE SINCE READ OF OTHER CASES OF A SIMILAR PROBLEM WHICH SEEMS TO BE A CONTINUING SAFETY PROBLEM WITH THESE VEHICLES. ALTHOUGH THERE WAS N
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE STREET, TRAVELING AT 15MPH HIT A SMALL POTHOLE, AND DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOYED. CONTACTED DEALER WHO ASKED FOR CONSUMER TO BRING VEHICLE BACK ON MONDAY. *AK
WHEN SHIFTING VEHICLE FROM DRIVE TO REVERSE, THE VEHICLE JUST WENT OUT OF CONTROL IN REVERSE. FOOT WAS NOT ON THE ACCELERATOR WHEN THE VEHICLE PICKED UP SPEED, RESULTING IN THE CONSUMER HITTING A POLE. THE CONSUMER WAS INJURED IN THIS ACCIDENT. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
WHEN VAN CRAHSED HEAD-ON INTO A LIGHT POLE THERE WAS NO DEPLOYMENT OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG. *AK
