DT; AT 35 MPH SOMEONE PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF CONSUMER'S VEHICLE AND HIT OTHER VEHICLE. UPON IMPACT, THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. SHE WAS TOLD BY THE MANUFACTURER THAT AIR BAGS WERE NOT GUARANTEED TO DEPLOY IN A CRASH. ALSO, SHE WAS TOLD NOT TO DEPEND ON THE AIR BAGS. THERE WERE 100 VARIABLES IN DEPLOYMENT OF AIR BAGS, AND THERE WAS NO WAY FOR THE MANUFACTURER TO TELL HER OVER THE PHONE WHEN AN AIR BAG WENT OFF. AFTER PUSHING THE BUTTON TO OPEN THE REAR HATCH, THE HATCH (DOOR) OPENED. WHILE MY HUSBAND WAS REMOVING BOXES, THE SPRING BROKE AND THE DOOR FELL AND HIT HIM ON THE HEAD. *AK
NEITHER AIRBAG DEPLOYED IN THIS FRONTAL ACCIDENT THAT WAS VIOLENT ENOUGH TO DAMAGE ALMOST EVERYTHING FROWARD OF THE FIREWALL. THE FRONT OF THIS VEHICLE (PRIMARLY RIGHT FRONT), HIT THE SIDE PASSANGER DOOR OF A CAR THAT MADE A SUDDEN LEFT TURN ACROSS IT'S PATH. ALTHOUGH THE INSURANCE COMPANIES HAVEN'T YET SAID SO, I ASSUME BOTH CARS WILL BE CONSIDERED TOTALLED. I SUGGEST YOU EXAMINE THIS VEHICLE TO DETERMINE IF THE AIRBAGS WERE FAULTY BEFORE ANY CHANGES CAN BE MADE.. IT IS CURRENTLY AT ROYAL GAT

IS CONSIDERING SPENDING HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO RAISE THE (CONCRETE) MEDIAN BARRIERS ON THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF MILES OF THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY SYSTEM...DUE TO THE LARGE NUMBER OF FATALITIES CAUSED BY RAISED-UP PICKUP TRUCK AND SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE ACCIDENTS WITH NORMAL PASSENGER CARS. I SUBMIT THAT PERHAPS IT IS TIME TO GO BACK TO THE LEGISLATION CONSIDERED TEN TO FIFTEEN YEARS AGO ORDERING MANUFACTURERS TO SET
WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH, WENT TO APPLY THE BRAKES AND THE BRAKES WENT STRAIGHT TO THE FLOORBOARD, CAUSING THE CONSUMER TO REAR END THE VEHICLE IN FRONT, AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK
REAR TAILGATE PISTONS SNAPPED OFF THE FRAME, CAUSING TAILGATE TO COME CRASHING DOWN ONTO CONSUMER ,KNOCKING HER DOWN BRUISING HER ARM AND WRIST . CHRYSLER WILL SEND SOME ONE TO INSPECT VEHICLE. *AK

NO DEPLOYMENT OF AIR BAG DURING ACCIDENT.
THE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK POSITION, CONSUMER WENT TO BACK TO SHUT LIFTGATE, RIGHT HYDRAULIC LIFTGATE HINGE BECAME DEATACHED FROM VEHICLE, BUT REMAINED ATTACHED TO LIFTGATE. WHEN SHUTTING THE LIFTGATE A LOUD NOISE, THEN GLASS SHATTERED, CAUSING INJURIES TO FACE. GLASS WENT 10 FEET IN TO PARKING LOT AND IN FRONT SEATS ALSO. THIS DEFECT CAUSED INJURIES. *AK
HUSBAND DRIVING VEHICLE, VEHICLE HAS CAPTAIN/QUAD CHAIRS, WAS REARENDED BY A TRACTOR TRAILER, UPON IMPACT, ALL 3 SEATS COLLAPSED BACKWARDS. *AK
