WHILE DRIVING HIT A BUMP OR POTHOLE AND APPLIED THE BRAKES, ABS WAS MISSING FOR ONE SECOND. DEALER NOTIFIED. *AK
CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING, THE ENGINE BEGAN TO ACT ERRACTICALLY, AND WHEN CONSUMER PULLED OVER, THE VEHICLE BECAME ENGULFED IN FLAMES. (OHIO TRAFFIC CRASH REPORT #10-91-530)*JB
WHILE DRIVING IN HEAVY TRAFFIC, STARTED TO SMELL SMOKE. A/C WENT OUT. SMOKE STARTED TO ENTER CABIN AREA. PULLED OVER AND THE ELECTRICAL HARNESS WAS ON FIRE. I WAS ABLE TO EXTINQUISH THE FIRE. IT SEEMS THE WIRE FOR THE HOOD LIGHT, ATTACHED TO THE HOOD HINGE, MAY HAVE BEEN CAUGHT BETWEEN THE FRAME AND THE HOOD, CUTTING INTO THE INSULATION AND SHORTING THE WIRE TO THE FRAME. IT IS BELIEVED TO HAVE CAUSED AN OVERLOAD TO THE WIRING HARNESS, WHICH STARTED ON FIRE. *AK
WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY APPROXIMATELY 60MPH CLUTCH PLATE ON THE A/C COMPRESSOR FROZE UP, AND THE SERPENTINE BELT CONTINUED TO RUB ON THE COMPRESSOR UNTIL IT BURSTED INTO FLAMES *AK.

WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 60 MPH IN FRONT OF HER WAS ANOTHER VEHICLE. CONSUMER TRIED TO STEP ON THE BRAKE AND THE VEHICLE DID NOT STOP, KNOCKED INTO VEHICLE IN FRONT. BRAKE PEDAL WAS SO HARD THAT FELT LIKES SOMEBODY WAS HOLDING THE PEDAL. DEALER NOR MANUFACTURER WERE CONTACTED. *AK
