THIS CAR HAS AN ELECTRICAL TRUNK THAT OPENS AND THE TRUNK ALSO, HAS A SPRING AIR ROD THAT CONTROLS THE HOLD OF THE OPEN TRUNK. I KNOW THIS FAILED BECAUSE THE TRUNK JUST LOST ITS HOLD ALL OF A SUDDEN AND LANDED ON MY NECK. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED HIM THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE TRUNK AND OFFERED NO FREE REMEDY. HE HAD THE PROBLEM FOR TWO YEARS, BUT DID NOT EXPERIENCE AN INJURY UNTIL NOW. HE USUALLY CAN CATCH THE TRUNK BEFORE IT FALLS. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE PURCHASE OF VEHICLE. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THE HYDRAULIC LIFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED ON BOTH SIDES.
