SABERSPORT IS RECALLING 16,270 COMBINATION CORNER AND BUMPER LAMP ASSEMBLIES OF VARIOUS PART NUMBERS SOLD FOR USE AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS PASSENGER VEHICLES. THESE HEADLAMPS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES

ON MY WAY TO WORK ON MAY 8TH 2014, MY BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON. IN A SPLIT SECOND DECISION I DECIDED TO GO TO WORK INSTEAD OF COFFEE FIRST TO CALL A MECHANIC AND WITHIN 2 MINUTES MY CAR HAD DIED. SMOKE WAS COMING IN THROUGH MY VENTS AND I HAD WITNESSES YELLING AT ME TO GET AWAY FROM MY CAR IT WAS ON FIRE. IN THE 5 MINUTES IT TOOK THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO GET THERE, THE FRONT OF MY CAR WAS GONE. THE CAR HAS BEEN TOTALED. 03/18/2002 - RECEIVED LETTER FROM DAIMLER CHRYSLER SAYING THAT THE CAR HAS BEEN MANUFACTURED WITH DEFECTIVE ENGINE. CHRYSLER PROPOSES TO REPLACE THE CAR OR GIVE ME THE MONEY BACK.
