MY 3 YR OLD SON HAS RECEIVED 2ND DEGREE BURNS TO 3 OF HIS FINGERS FROM REACHING THROUGH THE RIM OF OUR SUBURBAN. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ALL CAR MAKERS TO MAKE THE RIMS DIFFERENTLY SO LITTLE FINGERS DO NOT GET INTO DANGER! I HAVE CALLED GM AS OF 10-13-05. THE GLASS WAS CATAPULT UPWARD BY THE PISTONS AND AWAY FROM THE CAR. DEALERSHIP SERVICE ADVISORS ARE AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM, BUT WILL ONLY REPLACE FOR WARRANTEED VEHICLES. THE PIECES THAT BROKE AWAY FROM THE GLASS WERE NEVER ADHERED PROPERLY AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE COME LOOSE.

WE DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL MIGHT BE GROWING IN THE CARPET.
