The internal components of the tailgate are damaged by water and need to be replaced. They cause the tailgate to open and close randomly. This could cause items to fall from the truck bed on to the road.

20260210STRUCTURE:BODY

It is a very well known issue with these make and model trucks, ( 19-current Silverado 1500,2500,3500) that the eurethane on the back glass and the back glass track/frame cracks and leaks water causing an unsafe environment inside the vehicle if not caught. There is little to no visible evidence this occurs unless you really look and or take apart the headliner and rear spoiler on the cab to search for this issue. Water intrusion into the cab of the vehicle can build mold / mildew and cause a se

I was in an accident where a drunk driver pulled out in front of me. I waw traveling at 55 and he drive in front of me without stopping from a side road. I swerved to miss him while applying the brakes. We collided I hit him with the driver front fender, where it crushes the fender and started peeling the driver door back. After the impact I continued through a ditch up onto a hill and struck a tree around 6" in diameter. I believe I was doing 40-50 when I struck the other vehicle and 25 wh

There are recalls on other chevy with different vin numbers. On this truck the automatic tail gate keeps ope ing and closing and opening when driving down the road, I have been lucky not to loose stuff out the back when it decides to open while driving down the road.

Emergency brakes do not disengage all the time, resulting in brakes overheating.

20251006TIRES

These tires are good year wrangler trail runner at size lt275/65 r20. My total mileage on these tires was 40970These were the original tires that were installed when the truck was purchased new. My tires are rotated every 5000 miles. Tire pressure is maintained at the exact pressure. I was driving on an interstate at 70 mph. A vibration started. I checked the tire pressure monitors and all showed normal pressures - I stopped and observed the tires were no longer round but had bulges to one side

20251006TIRES

Three of four original Goodyear Wrangler TrailRunner AT tires (DOT 0222) on my 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 have experienced catastrophic tread separations under normal use with 28,095 miles. The first two failed under warranty and were replaced at my expense; the third failed at highway speed, causing vehicle damage and a $1,000 insurance deductible plus additional cost to replace the tire. The dealership advised GM sent the failed tires for analysis, but GM denies receiving or reviewing them. Multiple

While driving on the freeway in a construction zone, I smelled a burning oil smell. I considered the possibility it was in relation to road repairs being done (roads being repaved, ie tar resurfacing). I was cut off by another vehicle and depressed my brakes and I saw a poof of smoke over the front passenger area near tire. I noticed all of my gauges were in the normal ranges (temperature, battery voltage, etc.) In less than a minute my truck went into limp mode and advised it had a DEF syst
