I was driving on the road. The road naturally turned to the left, and when I turned the steering wheel, the truck did not turn. I hit three parked cars. The steering column steering shaft disconnected from the back of the steering wheel. There was no warning signs prior to the accident. I contacted GM. They sent out a adjuster. And denied my claim but did not give me a reason why. My safety was at risk because I lost my steering. The steering wheel turned but the steering shaft became disconnect

VEHICLE WAS STRUCK BY A MOTORCYCLE TRAVELING AROUND 50MPH IN THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT TIRE. THIS IS A 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS ONLY A 50CC MODEL SMALL MOTORCYCLE. THIS RESULTED IN THE SPINDLE BREAKING IN TWO AT THE POINT JUST BEHIND WHERE THE TIE ROD END CONNECTS RESULTING IN A LOSS OF STEERING ON THAT WHEEL.
