BRAKE PEDAL GOES SPONGES AND ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. THE TRUCK HAD OVER 120,000 MILES BEFORE REAR BRAKES WERE REPLACED. IN THAT TIME I WENT THROUGH 8 SETS OF BRAKES AND ROTORS. THE EVENT WAS A CRASH OF MY 1998 CHEVROLET SILVERADO P/U. THE CRASH WAS A FORWARD MOVING IMPACT TO THE SIDE OF ANOTHER VEHICLE WITH A SPEED OF 40 MPH. AND THE AIR BAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY. MY ANTI-LOCK BRAKES ON MY 1998 CHEVROLET SILVERADO START TO GO INTO THE ANTI-LOCK MODE ON DRY PAVEMENT AT SLOW SPEEDS. THIS STARTED ON ITS OWN LAST JANUARY. I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE OF DRIVING ON WINTER ROADS IN WISCONSIN, BEING SNOW COVERED AND SOMETIMES ICY. HOWEVER, THIS CONDITION HAS CONTINUED THROUGH THE SPRING, SUMMER, AND NOW FALL.
