General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Chevrolet Corvette vehicles. The rear half-shaft assemblies may be missing one or more ball bearings, which can result in a loss of drive power.

245/35 ZP 19 89Y With only 16,000 miles on this vehicle, the sidewall began to bulge, and then tore, with zero damage to the rim of the wheel, and all air was lost. Luckily it is a run flat tire so it didn't completely deflate, however, I had great concern that with the tear the tire might roll out of the rim on a turn possibly causing an accident or at least a damaged rim. BCM failure causing the oil pressure to fall to zero and making the car unusable. It also stated the mileage on the odometer does not match the mileage on the BCM.

The retractable headrest on the folding hard top convertible broke so it does not retract appropriately to allow the folding motion to close the roof to occur. It requires sticking your hand inside the roof while trying to close it and pulling it out fast. Internet searches have revealed others had the same issue with a cable breaking. My vehicle has less than 12K miles and top has only been retracted a handful of times.

Took the car in for inspection after noticing a greasy substance on the bottom panels when changing the oil. I was informed by the dealer that a cracked transmission housing up top was spraying the oil out and it was dripping down, the car is 7 month old and the transmission case cracked because of porous metal castings I was told which is a known issue already by GM.

When headlights are in AUTO mode (i.e. headlights off in sunlight and daytime running lights on, and headlights on in darkness), they will go in and out from on to off doesn't matter weather it is bright sunlight or darkness, and in darkness the headlights will sometimes turn totally off - there is no consistency as to when this happens.
