2014 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO FAULLTY VALVE SPRING WHICH RESULTED IN AN EXPLOSION. THE CONSUMER STATED THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ENGINE FAILURE PRIOR TO THE EXPLOSION. THE MANUFACTURER DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE.
REAR DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY PER GM'S SERVICE BULLETIN NO: 13384 "SUMMARY: THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY IN CERTAIN 2014 CHEVROLET CORVETTES WERE SHIPPED WITH IMPROPER FLUID LEVELS. OPERATING THE VEHICLE WITHOUT SUFFICIENT FLUID IN THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY COULD PRODUCE A LOUD WHINE AND/OR GEAR OR BEARING NOISE." AFTER PURCHASED THE CAR I RECOGNIZED THAT WHEN ACCELERATION BIT FASTER THERE WAS BACK AXLE, PARKING BRAKE AND SOME OTHER WARNINGS. IT HAPPENED ALWAYS WHEN ACCELERATED BIT FASTER. WINTER STAB WORKED OK. BUT NOW IN SUMMER I LOST CONTROL ON HIGHWAY DRIVING 50 MPH ACCELERATING ON WET ROAD AND LOST CONTROL AND HIT GUARD RAIL.
