UNINTENDED ACCELERATION AS I WAS APPROACHING A TRAFFIC CIRCLE I STARTED TO APPLY THE BRAKES, THE ENGINE STARTED TO ACCELERATE. I APPLIED THE BRAKES AS HARD AS I COULD AND THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE. I TURNED THE OFF THE CAR AND IT STOPPED BUT AT THE SAME TIME I HIT THE BUMPER OF THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS OCCURRED. FOR THIS LAST INCIDENT I CHECKED AND MY FOOT WAS ONLY ON THE BRAKE PEDDLE. *TR

WHEN SLOWING DOWN TO A STOP ( AT APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH) THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED RESULTING IN HITTING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF MINE.
