CONSUMER STATE WAS DRIVING ON THE ROAD WHEN THE ACCELARATOR WENT DOWN ON THE FLOOR BY IT SELF WITH OUT THE CONSUMER BEEN ABLE TO BRAKE CAUSING A ACCIDENT. NLM
WHEN THE ENGINE IS TURNED OFF, THE DOORS ALL UNLOCK AUTOMATICALLY. NOT ONLY IS THIS A MAJOR THREAT TO OUR SAFETY, THIS IS THE THIRD OCCASION ON WHICH MY CHILD'S FINGER HAS BEEN BADLY PINCHED AS SHE WAS TRYING TO UNLOCK THE DOOR AT THE VERY SAME MOMENT WHEN THEY AUTOMATICALLY UNLOCKED THEMSELVES. I HOPE THIS HAS STOPPED - VERY BAD IDEA!!!
PAINT HAS BEEN COMING OFF ALL OVER THE CAR, CAUSING RUST SPOTS. BRAKES SOMETIMES DO NOT CATCH AND YOU HAVE TO PUSH THE PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. ALSO THE BRAKE AND BRAKE PADS HAVE TO BE CHANGED ONCE A MONTH BECAUSE THEY WEAR OUT TOO QUICKLY. THE POWER LOCKS STICK IN THE COLD WEATHER AND WILL NOT LOCK OR UNLOCK UNTIL IT WARMS UP. WHEN I WAS IN A CRASH THE DRIVERS AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY CAUSING ME TO HIT MY FACE ON THE STEERING WHEEL. *AK

WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY, TRAFFIC STOPPED BUT OUR CAR DID NOT. THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED CORRECTLY AND WE HAD SPACE TO STOP BUT WE DID NOT AND REARENDED THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF US. THE 2ND TIME THIS HAPPENED ON A CITY STREET WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED SUDDENLY. THE CAR JUST DID NOT STOP. MECHANICS CAN FIND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BRAKES. GM RECALLED SUVS WITH THIS PROBLEM. WASHED CAR AND ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON SATURDAY DEC 5, 1999; DROVE CAR HOME AND IT REMAINED PARKED UNTIL EVENING OF DEC 6, 1999. STATRED THE CAR, DROVE DOWN THE STREET, TURNED ON THE HEATER (KNOB WAS ON DEFROST) AND THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WAS IMMEDIATELY COVERED WITH STEAM. CAUSED IMMEDIATE DRIVER IMPAIRMENT AND COLLISION RESULTED. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW THIS HAPPENED. PLEASE REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.(D.EVERTSEN 970-568-3381)
