My vehicle caught fire while driving it. There was no warning…no engine lights on, no smoking engine. The fire seemed to start behind the dashboard of the passenger side. Less than 5 minutes and the car was completely engulfed in flames. My insurance company said there was too much damage to tell me what caused the fire.

I bought this as a certified used vehicle. On 1/21/2023 I had a wreck and based on my vehicle, injuries, and photos I strongly believe the airbags should have deployed. I specifically bought this vehicle due to the safety and airbag components. I am reporting this incident because I would not want anyone to be injured or any children in the event that this is something that needs to be looked into. I was in an accident on 8/19/22. I was completely stopped when struck head on by a Ram Truck with a Ranch-hand bumper. The hit totaled my car, bending the frame and pushing the left front of the vehicle up against the firewall and driving my vehicle sideways. However, the airbag did not deploy. There have been ongoing complaints about the headlights on this car. I avoid driving my car at night due to the fact that visibility is compromised. I had a SERIOUS near miss while driving at night.
